I loved this story it was so cute. I would have liked to read more about what happend in the room before the cops came, but it was a very good story anyway.

Hahaha, this was amusing. I think I'd have to kill Twitchy, brother or not. My blood pressure was rising with Jack's. :) It would've been cool to "see" the actual kidnapping attempt, but the bit that Twitchy described sounded great. And I'm sure Dick would appreciate being labeled Superman, Jr. even if Bruce wouldn't. :)

LOL! I read "Why Me?" before this story, and I thought *it* was funny. But my oh my! This had me rolling in laughter. Your portrayal of Bruce and the very young Dick, in this and other stories, is really masterful. Poor J&T! They couldn't have known what they were getting into... ;) May Superman, Jr, always foil cowardly kidnappers! And may Syl write plenty more like this! ;)

I've been having thonghts of "He's Bruce Wayne's ward. What would happen if someone tried to kidnap him?" This answers my question. I was laughing from scene one. Thank you for a great read!

This is in answer C.F.P.'s question. When writing this story, I was actually thinking about "The Ransom of Red Chief," by O. Henry, the story of two bumbling kidnappers who end up *paying* ransom to the "victim's" parents in order to return the kid-who's a real monster. I'd first intended to write a similar story, but then Twitchy and Jack sort of took over the story. As for Lennie and George, they are two of my favorite literary characters (I love _Of Mice and Men_) and if my two crooks remind you in any way of Steinbeck's creations, then all the better for me.:)
