Don't you hate it when you want information to come out and there's no way to get it out realistically? It's good to know though. Guess John is looking at trying to follow his own advice - which is not always easy. For him, there will always be some guilt and you portrayed that well. Great job.

Poor Rodney, not realizing he'd left John behind until it was too late. And poor John, still kind of hazy, trying to figure out Rodney's garbled explanation of what happened. At least they talked - they can settle the details later. The main thing is that John is finally home.

well at least he is healing good im guessing rodney is going to be the hard one to heal this time round :)

Well, at last he's rescued! I was beginning to despair of them ever finding him in time. They ARE in time, aren't they? *hopeful look*

Okay, this is BAD! I don't like this poisonous lizard thingy and wish you hadn't invented it. *whimpering for poor John*

Oh yeah and he would have tried to construct some other weapons by now, to save ammo for killing BIG things, like the cat. Ooh, the cat's innards would have made good arrow strings for a bow and arrow and he can set snares to catch the squirrely looking thingies. :)

Um, John shouldn't have survived that attack by the cat on day 4. Unless his shot half paralyzed the feline, he'd have been disemboweled by it's back legs during the struggle. That's what cats do with their prey, after all.

And on day 5 that reptile? If a bullet won't work, you bring out the knife. Bullets don't go through special vests, but a knife will, so that's my reasoning there. Why didn't he use the knife?

Okay, nitpicking aside, I'm interested and invested in this fic now, so I'll keep reading. *chuckle*

Oh yay! Sheppard's been found. I always love the build-up to finding him, but actually finding him is my favorite part! Wonderful build-up and wonderful find.
