I find the writing a little stiff.

Eg

When they were at the grangers house Mrs. Granger asked if Molly would help with dinner and she replies

"why yes i would" or something to that effect. It is too formal, it should have been something more like,

"I'd be delighted"

as Molly loves to cook and to help out.

Calling Mr. Weasley "dad" is not something HArry would do. He respects him too much for that, I believe just 'Mr. Weasly' would sound better.
