Aw sheesh, I can't believe I didn't comment on this! I'm sorry! I usually do comment on stories I like, especially when I fave them - I think it's just silly and not polite to not comment if you like a story.

Anyway. So I re-read it, and... it still makes my chest ache. A good ache, though, mind you. It's short, yes, but it's not about the length when it's about feelings. You managed to express so much in here - the doubts, the regrets, the foreshadowing... but most of all, the incredible desire, need, of Riku to be free.

'His eyes will scream of oceans'
and
'But his words glow green, too'
are such telling and haunting sentences. You've captured Riku very well in here... it's gorgeous writing. God, what would I give to write like that. Thank you for writing and sharing this!

The most beautiful 600 words I ever read. But it's still just 600 words. No matter how beautiful, it isn't art.

Why not write them? They are so intricate and decorative and beautifully confusing and dreamlike. Gorgeous words that I would love to translate into pictures if only I could figure out how.

My favorite line is "His eyes will scream of oceans."

That part is like...heartwrenching.

I can't enough of this scene, so don't think there's anything bad about writing about it a lot! XD I love it because of the choice that Riku has to make and the thoughts that go through his mind. I realized that it seems so easy to write KH-related things, but when it comes to KH2, the scenes seem so far away and sometimes many of them are overlooked in fics (Riku's reunion with Sora, Sora's thoughts of Kairi in Halloween Town, etc.) Maybe they've been overplayed, but I guess I just haven't seen many. >.> Anywho, that was random. But back to Aesthetic (which is one of my fave words, by the way!) I KNOW that this was amazing, once again written by an amazing gal. :P

OMG SO BEAUTIFUL. For some reason it tugged a heart string. Just a little. But the descriptions were so gorgeous. I especially liked the italiced (sora sora kairi) stuff near the end. Augh, total love. I must fave this.

Really like this one. It's scattered and dreamlike, but with very precise intention. Seeing those qualities blended together in fanfic is quite the treat; literary yumyums, WHY THANK YOU.

And. I particularly like your way of deconstructing Riku. He's always at his best when he's slipping on the line between sunlight and shadows, after all.

Definitely lovely. I /really/ like this one.
