Shame it wasn;t Keele himself, but still and interesting development, that should keep them all on their toes.

At least it seems to be having a positive effect on the pilots, for the time being at least.

"Higher Learning" was literally the first thing I thought of from the very first sentence of the story. (And as that's one of my personal favorites, it's a pretty high standard to meet.) The similarities remain quite strong so far, but I'm enjoying this story all the same. A pre-reader or two would be of great benefit, though. I look forward to seeing where you go with it from here!

Is that me or are there some similaritys with "Higher Learning" from Strike Fiss?

The prologue with the crying, Asuka und Shinji drunk and kissing, Kaji checking out the place of the new char, Asuka running to the new char while Shinji is trapped inside of Leliel...

Not that it's too bad or something... I just kinda noticed.

That was an unexpected twist, I assume that was Keele who died so abruptly...

Still, it is good to see Shinji and Asuka progressisng their relationship. Hopefully it will have a positive effect on him. Doubly so when it seems there are yet greater trials ahead.
