Hello, NRGburst. This is a good place in the story to tell you that you were lost, but now you are found, and I'm so glad!! When I first began reading fanfic, I wrote my favorite authors and/or stories on a post-it note so I could reread when I wanted to. I didn't know about profile pages or favorites or reviews--I just knew this was a place to give form to my day dreams. I've loved your story, but lost track of where it was. I couldn't find you because I changed your name! You were, according to my note, NGRburst. And all I remembered, and wrote down, was the wrong name. I remembered two scenes that I've been hungry for: when Barret chewed them out for making love and endangering, thereby, his baby, and Barret getting so furious about the Father-Daughter event that Marlene'd invited Cloud to. Just a bit ago, I found you and at last cold favorite you, and you are back in my collection of beloved stories about the Cloud (and Tifa) I love so much. And what a cute baby you have...I'm delighted for you and yours. thx mc

this story is one of the most brilliantly conceived cloti fics i've ever read. the care and attention to the littlest detail, the research, and complete immersion to nearly all of the ff7 compilation just made this story all the more engaging and evocative. the progression of cloud and tifa's relationship is excellently executed. i love how it's a story so encompassing that minor compilation characters have a place in it, no matter how small an appearance. thank you for writing a truly wonderful and beautiful story.

Haha. nope I actually got Tifa at the date scene my first playthrough (at the expense of being a total jackass to Aeris though):P

d'aw soft and mushy chapter. Weddings are awesome. Even though I've never been on even a date. ah... mushy chapter, sentimental yes, but what else would a wedding be?

Just thought I'd mention that I love how you acknowledge Aeris's presence and influence in a CloTi story. (Since... I was totally a Cloris fan before Cloti became official. I still am. lol)

I guess... poor Cloud has some major relationship issues, huh? First the obvious of Aeris and Tifa... now both him and Barret are fathers to Marlene... not to mention he's half Zack, half Cloud, and some part Jenova and Sephiroth clone. lmao. Poor guy. Oh, and a chocobo lookalike. :D Screw Triangles, he's got an octagon at least!

I love triangles though. Excellent little buggers. Geometrical things. Three lines and three corners and... blah.

I liked the portrayal of Barret here. Being so Barret, yet not completely neglectful either. Heh, kids are so forgiving. Or... Marlene is. I don't know. I'm lucky enough to have both my parents still around and happily married and stuff. Probably why I have such a fascination with "untraditional" family types.

I actually went to a izakaya last Friday... omg the food was so delicious!! (so was the sake, but I'm technically underage and I was stole a sip off my sister's glass. xD) I never really thought of all those inconsistencies in AC (like Cloud driving to the Forgotten City) Hrm...
I liked this chapter a lot actually. Daily life is surprisingly fun to read about.

Wow, this story was so good! You actually turned me into a Cloti fan. I'm not sure that I cared one way or another before reading this story. I could really see this happening. They're so sweet together ^_^ It's really nice how you addressed his feelings about Aerith. I felt that he cared for her, but he would move on in time. Besides I like Aerith better with Zack. I'm actually a Zerith fan above all else. What made this story so amazing is how true you stayed to the character personalities. I really felt like this was a story about Cloud and Tifa. I also liked how you threw Cissnei in at the end of the story. Her resentment of Cloud for the death of Zack was done well. It made her seem so human, and much more than just a video game character. Anyway, thanks so much for this story! I'm reading it for the second time now ^_^

I'm pretty new to this fan fiction/review stuff and am unsure of what authors want/need to hear from their readers...a couple of chapters back you asked if we were OK with a maturing Cloud; if it was upsetting not to have emo-clueless guy. I like to see progress and if a story goes on too long with Cloud (or Tifa) making no progress in life, I tend to not finish it. I like what you've done. Thanks and even tho your life is changing, I hope there is more ff7 fiction in your future that you share with us. mc
