Um... yeah. It's cold shower time. I forgot how steamy this last chapter was and just how much of a tease Bobby Goren could be. Y'know, I've had it up to here with writers spoiling Ms. Eames. It's too much for my teeny brain to take. :( Anyways, another wonderful story. You know I always enjoy anything you come up with and am looking forward to Christmas break and what writings the tidings shall bring.

Massive sized plotholes aside, I thought this was a work of sitcom-tastic brilliance. How simple that Mike and Carolyn would help fix things by soothing Bobby's bruised ego. Of course Alex saw right through Barek's ploy and thank you for that--she's far too clever to fall inside a plothole. But that doesn't mean she can't stick a toe in and see if the water's fine. :D

As if Carolyn would've ever managed to hold out as far as Mike's striptease is concerned. Another awesome chapter and so sorry for my belated reviews. But remember just because they're spaced out doesn't mean they're not coming. Eventually.

Two notes here:

"It’s a shame the way it went down.”

“You mean the way Goren went down,” Mike laughed.

--Total LOL moment.

And secondly, (and interestingly very close in proximity...),

"He was keen on her, but… I think what happened killed it for him.”

--Aussie alert! You'll see the word/phrase 'keen on' in books and sometimes it'll pop out of a grandmother's mouth, but its usage here in the U.S. is few and far between. Outdated, really. There. Aren't you proud I put my meter on? :)

Oh, who needs plausible when you're around? This was a fun ride, from hilarity to sexy and back to hilarity again. Loved Mike wondering why Alex kissed him and Bobby clapped him on the back.

I want dinner reservations at Bobby's place. :D

Glad you could tear youself away from 8 and 7 year olds long enough to pen a delicious conclusion to a marvelous story. (I'm still swimming over having mistaken you for a fellow university student, btw. As us stupid Americans say--d'oh!) Anyways, this week is all about playing catch up and reviewing that which I neglected. You really threw me for a loop with this chappie. It started off so sexy and then ended in just about the most ridiculous way imaginable. I was so stunned I didn't laugh at first so much as feel execessively bad for Bobby. But having read it thrice since (this morning including) I must admit the slapstick has overtaken my sensitivity.

“If I never see this again, it will be too soon.”

Goren, Seger, and sushi oh my! That was very sexy and a lot of fun. Bobby is a master at persuasion and seduction and Alex certainly got to reap the benefits. "Stop me anytime, Alex" is he kidding!? Very nice. Sweet of Bobby to ask and then to wrap that rascal.
