I can really see why Vida clashes with her so much, pulling that crap on them. And V's right, knighty Chip is hot. Him stepping in and calmly dealing with her mom was great, and really fun to imagine. Sort of like a showdown at the OK Corral, without guns. Everybody's lucky V didn't start throwing things, either. I love how Chip took center and told Vida's mom how things were and they were fine the way it happened. And I love Vida's response to how Chip had acted. Loved this chapter. Can't wait for the next one. |

The way you write Chip and Vida feels so natural, especially in their relationship with each other. All the little kisses made me smile, and the ending was fun. Even if you left us with a sort of cliffhanger. Meanie. But I'm really eager to see what Vida's mom and the priest do, or at least how V reacts to her mom's overbearing-ness. MGS |
