I really enjoyed reading your story. Knives might be slightly OOC in the last chapter, but that's what's fun about fanfiction. It's your creation warp his pesonality all you want!

I just wanted to let you know that I've really enjoyed this story so far. You've done a good job of keeping them all reasonably in character. (I hate the stories where Meryl is suddenly a sweet pampering nurse to knives, c'mon we all know she has a temper) The nightmare was neat, it actually reminded me a bit of the movie Legend. I hope you are still working on this story.

Oh, thank you for updating! I assumed this story had died. I'm very happy now, many of the good Trigun fanfics authors are updating after a long absence.
You bring up a good point about Gunsmoke having myths & fairytales. Must be a strange mix of technology, endemic knowledge & gibberish.
I especially like your details of how language & culture has been bastardized by the Gunsmoke inhabitants. No one else has commented on this, or explored it further. So... is the knight now a thomas instead of a horse? And what does Millie call the Rook? ;)
