Correction: I was not two when this came out. (I was looking at the year this fic was written, not the month, when I said I was 2.) When I noticed this was published on September 4, I realized that I was about 6 and a half weeks shy of my b-day. Oops.

I like that this story is so good. I have to say that there could be no story better suited for the start of all Harry potter fan fiction.

Saw the article in TIME and decided to check this out. I bet the number of hits has gone WAY up since that issue came out. So am I right? Please, please tell me!

Like another reviewer said, I saw this in the TIME magazine. It had a Harry Potter timeline and showed that the first Harry Potter fanfiction, "Harry Potter and the Man of Unknown" was published. You're famous! And then, I naturally became curious about the first fanfiction and clicked on the last page.

To be honest, this is probably going to be my first and last HP fanfic as I was always too afraid to dwell into its expansive 500,000 depths. But as this was THE FIRST HP fanfic, I just had to read it.

It has been over a decade since this was written and completed. I have just seen the final movie and the series is over and I just have to say, what a wonderful piece you've written here. I was engaged from the first paragraph. Even while some parts were wonky (owing to the fact that you'd written this before reading the third) it felt all natural and just as if I were reading a real side novel/story thing.

I hardly doubt you'll actually read this but I just want to thank you for starting the Harry Potter Fanfiction Universe with such a heartfelt wonderful story.
