YAY you updated :D and i loved the start, how Kal was there to support Kara in what she wanted to do, i liked that, you captured their relationship well there. However, i must say i wasn't as keen on the second half, i felt it was a little strange having Supergirl just stand there, i understand she would be in shock, but i don't think it would take random guy to drag her along to make her move, i think her superhero instincts would kick in, along with her pent up rage for what's happening.

But don't be discouraged by my opinion, i still think this story rocks, so please continue and update as soon as possible :D

This is MUCH better now that superman goes over to Ground Zero. but I'd cut out calling supergirl Mae. Her earth name is Linda danvers which you have, but her kryptonian name is Kara Zor-El so you could have him call her Kara or Linda, but there is no Mae that I know of in the Superman continuity.

A good read, and I liked your inclusion of Clark Kent. If I was to be picky (and this is a ridiculously minor point), Chapter 2's "He looked at me a little confused" followed shortly thereafter by "then looked at me confused" seemed a bit repetitive. Also not sure why this is M rated, although I guess I'll find out in subsequent chapters.
