Moody in this story seems to be to Dumbledore as Wormtail is Voldemont. Wonder what Dumbledore has on him.

I love the story! But if the Potter's had family portraits, couldn't it be assumed that the other pureblood families also had them so by extension, shouldn't Sirius have a portrait?

well... this story is definitely interesting... i like that draco is an almost neutral presence in the story and the idea of all of these old men acting like chess masters and moving pawns around like it is nothing... brava on a VERY original (from what i personally have read) storyline and setup though i wonder if you were planing on continuing or will this hiatus be more permanent?

Hmm... I can't help but think that LeFey's heir is either Draco or Hermione. However, we don't know all the details about the heritage of the others very well. Considering you've changed the past of several characters, I wouldn't put it past you to change any of the others. I can't help but assume that Harry is supposed to be the heir to Merlin by the way you're making it appear. But the Weasley thing just throws that off. But only if bloodlines really do matter. How is it possible for Voldemort to communicate with the pensieve? I was under the impression that it only held memories, not someone's personality or soul. Is Albus' son actually dead, or dead in the sense of Voldemort soul-splitting /barely alive?

On a different note, I'm not sure about which is actually meddling for the better, Dumbledore and/or Lazarus. Lazarus could actually be the bad guy instead of Dumbledore. But we won't know until you write more!
