ThatOneGuy92 2009-11-30 . chapter 38Bloody great story! The perfect balance between comedy and romance. I was laughing all the way through, and I found the story to very engaging.
Do keep up the good work. This is definately one of the best Harry Potter fanfics I've read. |
Myuu November 2009-11-08 . chapter 38Great! I laughed rather hard while reading this last chapter, like when Hermione compares her life to this very story or when Ron comments on how Harry touched everything just when the others are quite - especially as something like that happened to all of us at least once, right? xD
Anyway, it's a really great story and I found myself really feeling with the characters. They are well crafted and the way you describe everything really had me reading nonstop.
Thank you! |
Myuu November 2009-11-08 . chapter 31Woah, I laughed so hard... McGonagall giving Hermione the Talk XDD |
Myuu November 2009-11-07 . chapter 14I'm so suffering along with them :D Good job so far! |
Myuu November 2009-11-07 . chapter 12Why did Harry buy a Nimbus two thousand and three in chapter 5 even though he owns a Firebolt? (At least that's what Hermione says what he did while she bought the cloth and the glue.) |
Echo Moon 2009-10-31 . chapter 38wow this was really good. i liked the ending. twas funny. |
brigrove 2009-10-18 . chapter 38lovely story and I laughed at the end scene |
 brigrove 2009-10-18 . chapter 37Nice battle |
brigrove 2009-10-18 . chapter 36Remember that they didn't get their OWL results until halfway through summer after taking them? Well OWLS are the equivalent to the Muggle O-lavels and in England, those results come mid summer.
Likewise, results for A-levels, the Muggle equivalent for NEWTS, come mid summer.
So how can they graduate at the end of term when they don't even know if they've passed anything yet?
That's why neither Hogwarts, nor English schools, on which the educational system at Hogwarts was based, have graduations. JKR would have mentioned it at least once if it existed, after all at least Percy would have graduated.
Sadly graduation is just an just forcing American culture onto Harry Potter.
Nice twisty cliffhanger at the end though |
brigrove 2009-10-18 . chapter 33I assume Luna meant the GROUND floor, not the first floor. A British first floor is what Americans call the second floor. |
brigrove 2009-10-18 . chapter 30I just had to laugh at Ron in this one |
brigrove 2009-10-17 . chapter 19So Harry's finally figured it out. Only took him a few? chapters haha |
 brigrove 2009-10-17 . chapter 18You sure Ella wasn't in Slytherin? |
brigrove 2009-10-17 . chapter 12Actually, you could do with a brit/picker as well. "Fanny" in Britain means ** so nobody is going to have a fanny pack (they're called bum-bags)
We don't say candies, we say sweets and there are a lot of other things through the story. (I just hope you don't go on to do the classic bit of Americanisation and give them a graduation - Hogwarts is based on the English school system and there-s no such thing as a school graduation.) |
brigrove 2009-10-17 . chapter 8I had to laugh at the "I'm used to it". That was always my line when my late wife used to apologise for being bad tempered with me |
