sandy keene 9/19/01 . chapter 1 I thought the story was bland and unmemorable. The scene where Casey confronts seemed overly melodramatic - I can't imagine the characters on the show interacting that way. The dialogue had points where it approached Sorkin, which was nice. The narration, though, like the plot, suffered from a certain samey quality. Overall, a good try, but where were the little details that make a story linger? The elements of characterization that convince us this story is about the Dan and Casey we love on the show? |
