That was so sad! You did a really lovely job of it, though. The only thing that kind of annoyed me was the sheer number of times the name "Gash" was said. I can understand why repetition works well with this sort of thing, but even still... :B;;

Anyway, wonderfully done! Nice to see Umagon get some perspective. I mean, he can't really talk, but I'm sure he thinks in words, after all. The friendship thing was really nicely implemented.
