(Doesn't hurt that it's a Matchbox 20 songfic, I ~love~ Matchbox 20, and that song fit particularly well to the situation you wrote. Poor Kido, sometimes things just don't have a happy ending.) For some odd reason, I thought of Hanako (my version of Jyou's wife after 02, from "Usotsuki") as I read this. I don't think she'd ever go this far, but much of the sentiment is the same...but different, and I honestly loved your interpretation. Djinn-saaaan! You're such a wonderful writer!! It was deliciously dark and utterly depressing, rather like the ending itself, well to the fans of the show at least. ::sniff:: Poor poor Jyou...I'd love to see what Yama is doing now/how he feels. Doesn't bitterness make a wonderful muse?
