I like it! Very clever, and you're right, there is FAR too much angst and not enough light-heartedness. Especially Peter, who's dreamed and wondered his way to this particular "super" state, should have a bit of light-hearted fun once in awhile. He LIKES his powers, but we never see him use them just BECAUSE...

That was so sweet and touching! Thank you for writing that - we could all use a little light-hearted Petrellis once in a while. I loved Nathan's big-brother protectiveness when Peter got too close to the edge and the pride in Nathan's eyes when Peter realised he was flying on his own - kind of reminded me of when my older brother taught me to ride a bike :-) Plus, it was nice to see Nathan relax and get a little mischievous once in a while.

I loved Nathan's big-brother streak and Hiro's innocent (hmm, debatable) point about catching somebody midair.

But I adored Nathan's not wanting to tell their mother Peter is "a big splat" at the bottom of the Grand Canyon XD That rocked!

"Think about it though," Peter smirked, "you'd be the only President not to use Air Force One."

That should go in the series if he gets to be President!

That was really good. I loved the part at the end with him zooming off and breaking the sound barrier. Show Off. Your right. There are entirely too many angsty fics about the Pertrelli brothers nowadays. Great job.
