bauerfreak 2008-06-05 ch 7,	abuseOkay, I've decided Rory is pretty much the cutest name ever. Why hadn't I thought of that name? Jon and Rory are definitely adorable. It's interesting to see Abbie in her motherly role. Lol that Jon tried to get Warrick to sign his slip. Warrick is a pretty awesome coworker for tolerating carting the kids around and waiting on Abbie. And yay rah for the Cath/Warrick conversation. I wonder if yobling will be ahead... Awesome chappie.
speedcochrane 2008-06-04 ch 6,	abuseWow! You're such an amazing story teller. I'm absolutely enjoying Abbie and all of her quirks. In a way, I identify with her. I've always had a bit of trouble getting close to people and I end up making social faux-pas, heh. It was an interesting revelation that she had kids! The poor girl. First she loses her husband, and now she has to raise the kids on her own. I wonder why she feels so negatively about her mother? Surely there's some kind of underlying issue there. I hope you reveal it, I'd like to know what it is and how it can be used to develop Abbie further. :) Hmm Jonathan's murder is quite the mystery -- and he was tortured to boot. That's some serious anger toward him. I'm beginning to wonder if maybe Abbie's to blame? Like was said in the story, who knows if he was abusive and maybe someone noticed (ala Archie maybe? lol) and took things into their own hands. (Wait, I THINK Archie knew the victim right? He was in those pictures right? or am I imagining things..lol. It's late, I'm allowed to) HORATIO CAINE! flails Bwaha, was it sad that I was a teeny bit proud that he was mentioned no matter how corny he is? Ha. Poor Warrick. He's having some tough times and it wasn't exactly helpful what Abbie said to him--another showcase of how socially awkward she can be at times. But I think she does have a good heart and has generally good intentions. (I mean, look at the way she lights up when she talks about her kids!) Hopefully they can come to a truce. But it would be cool if they never really reached that 'friend' threshold. I think it's interesting when someone on CSI doesn't actually get along with another character. It gives the 'relationship' -- in the vaguest sense - more depth. And I know you don't want to focus too much on their arc because it's an Archie/Abbie story but yeah. Maybe in the future. :) Also, the way you had Abbie react when she was talking to Grissom initially about the case was really gripping. I could picture every ounce of her and I could definitely relate to how she was feeling. Besides, it had to have been pretty weird to publically undermine the boss and then hope for his help later on. I'm glad Grissom decided to offer aid. There's hope for work ethics and professionalism afterall! I love the amount of research you've been doing. It's such a relief - and a big plus - to see someone take the time to understand and showcase facts/ideas that have generated from actual sources as opposed to just making it up along the way and patronizing the reader. Okay, a bit of poetic lisence is fine but some people write crime/mystery and it turns into sci-fi. LOL. Yours hasn't done that and it probably never will--I trust you. ;) Great job so far, I can't WAIT for the 7th chapter! You've worked so hard on this (from what I can see) so I have no doubt your next chapter will be just as impressive, interesting and thought provoking--if better!

Absolutely no clue. It's good that Abbie has at least somewhat opened up to CAth about her family life, and hopefully Cath will be able to help her.

bauerfreak 2008-01-01 ch 5,	abuseWow, lady, that was a revealing chapter for Abbie. I always feel like I'm reading a book when I read your fics. Abbie was a real bee otch at the beginning, but it definitely wasn't ooc. I like that Archie kind of put her in her place in his own low-key kind of way. It's good that Abbie has someone like Archie to tell her when she's being overly bitchy. And she finally let Mandy in a little closer! That was a shock that she invited her over, but a bit step for Abbie. I think it will be a good one. The kid bombshell was a real shocker!! She has kids!! Jon and Rory seem cute; hopefully we'll find out more about her homelife now. Great chappie!

bauerfreak 2007-12-04 ch 4,	abuseI feel for Abbie, but I liked the way Grissom handled her "insubordination". She can't be such a bitch! Well done, there, and I think you captured Grissom well, showing how concerned he was. It was interesting how in-tune Abbie is to Warrick, given her background. Of course he's not happy that she was "butting in" to his problems, but he needs it! We don't want our dear Warrick getting hurt. Nice update.

It was cute how Nick didn't understand it at all, haha. I wonder why Abbie had to leave all of a sudden...hm. Nice job, lady.
