Okay, if Sano is upstairs, I am surprised that Kenshin is not pulling the plug on that loud music. So, you have the set-up now we need the "meet."

At first I thought that this was gonna be a little wierd with the setting being in the present day, but I really like this story you wrote here! I can't wait till Kenshin and Kaoru finally meet!

Off to a good start. I hope we see more Kenshin in the next chapter. I'm curious about his past.

Loved your first story so I am looking forward to where this one will lead me. Wanting to ask so many questions but not knowing where to start and it is an interesting beginning. Seems both Kaoru and Kenshin are stuck in a rut looking forward to their adventure and discovery. Thanks for the read until next time.

Definitely an emo-ish start. It was almost poetically bitter. But, I think I like the way that you introduced Kaoru and Kenshin... the group trip to the park still carried a tinge of the blues but I think it was well-suited.

And to think that kaoru and Kenshin ahd their first meeting on a ferris wheel was really cute. By the way, a cussing Kaoru made me laugh too.

Altogether, not a bad chapter indeed. Looking forward for the next chapter already. Although, I hope that the chapters don't get too short. I think this was a nice length.

Well. Kaoru seems to be having a happy life. What's up with Kenshin? What was he in the hospital for?
