| skypig21 2007-10-04 ch 1, | abuseSo sad! But true to the characters. Not much was made of the loss of Carson in the show, so there is plenty of emotion to mine for writers brave enough to go there. Thanks for a heartfelt look into that difficult time. |
| Elisa 2007-10-04 ch 1, anon. | abuseOh, so sad but so sweet. So sad seeing Rodney so quiet just sitting alone and looking so depressed and then so sweet when John noticed and went to him and asked what was wrong. Love the quiet strength that John was able to convey to Rodney that he was there for him and would always be. Love it. Thanks for sharing! |

| twinchaosblade 2007-10-03 ch 1, | abuseVery, very touching and heart-wrenching story about their pain of losing Carson. The subdued way of Rodney while sitting at the table with John really broke my heart. Even though Sheppard doesn't like to talk overly much about emotions and feelings and he too has to struggle to come to terms with what happened, I'm convinced that he is the only one who can really reach McKay in that state. There's no easy way to deal with missing a beloved one or friend. Well written and well done! |
| TCB 0.5 2007-10-03 ch 1, | abuseThanks for writing this, Denise. It breaks my heart to read post-Sunday stuff - and even more to see Rodney and John grieve about their loss of our favourite Scottish doctor - but it was (as always) very well written and surely a tense moment between the two. I really liked the idea of Sheppard seeing himself as some sort of therapist for McKay, since they truly help each other in such a devastating situation. And talking, even though John might not like it, does help himself as well as Rodney. |
