Nice! I don't think I've read a Yuki POV before- she's always the character being looked at from Neal's POV, and she definitely deserves her own thoughts. She's always portrayed as perky, laughing or tempermental, so it was really nice to get another side of her here- wistful and homesick.

The thought that people like Yuki and Shinko could and would be homesick has never crossed my mind. It's got me thinking.

I like this, and the descriptions of bamboo forests and rice fields was great.
