Kids who lose their parents do take a while to get over it, if they ever do. And his crush on Misa is absolutely adorable. This was a very nice chapter, not too eventful, but still very good. Not every chapter should be eventful, after all. Lovely work.

Light's such a little conniving bastard, I love him for it! I think i have an idea of what might've happened to L and why he wears a scarf all the time but I'll just hafta stick around and wait to see, huh? Update soon?

To me, it was the perfect length, and I agree, if it was any longer and repetitive, it would've been slightly annoying. So Lawliet went to school. I wasn't expecting that to happen pretty much immediately. And I'm not usually a fan of Misa, but I liked the part involving her on the bus. Light is just horrible to Lawliet. Was Lawliet having a flashback when Misa was talking about that kid who lit his tie on fire? That's the only reason I could come up with for how he was acting at the end. So, I hope that the next chapter at least comes out faster than this one. Update soon please.
