Anyway, Ozai/Ursa is absolutely my favorite couple in Avatar. They're so beautiful and tragic, and I think you really captured that here. The writing style is unique. It's so very lyrical and there's a nice flow as well -- and in such a case like this, I think that you made a wise choice in regards to the capital letters and such. It gives the composition a sort of disjointed yet strung together trail of ideas that helps the reader follow Ozai's thoughts. The entire piece had chills running down my back, from him reminiscing to him attempting to relieve himself of the tension, only to find that more than anything he just wanted her back. Very beautiful piece!
Minstrel of Fire 2008-07-17 ch 1,	abuseVery powerfully and poetically written. You really experience what's happening while reading this. I'm an avid Urzai shipper, so it's always nice to see a fanfic this well done about their relationship. This was really vivid, and at the same time abstract, so it worked to convey an intense emotion. I like how you described their former passion, and how Ozai was reliving it alone, tho he couldn't let himself "slip" at most times. It was also neat how he realized at the end that he'd rather have Ursa than cold power. I'm hoping there will be a bit of reconciliation for them before the end, so it was nice to see that realization on his part in your fic. Great job, and this is on my favorites list. (Btw, i also love the title--the "devil" is a great metaphor for the main villain in Avatar.

How he thinks of his wife and is driven to the brink of passion. And even though Ursa wasn't physically with him, you get a sense of Ozai reliving their nights together. LOVE this. Tasteful, powerful, sensual, lyrical, SENSATIONAL.
