I still can't decide if I enjoy this series or your Iron Fist series more. Either way, this series has some of the best written multiple plotlines I've seen. The slayer, the faeries, the gods, etc. You have them all as characters but you made it work, and that's rather difficult to do. I do hope to see more of this one, even though it's a year and a half or so after the last update, as I rather enjoy the way you have made Xander grow up.

On a side note, you make a lot of mentions about comments for your stories, but FF isn't all that great for reviews to be honest. It's just too big and impersonal for it. I know you write on TTH (where I first saw Spy Game) and I'm pretty sure you would get more reviews there, even if it is just to finish uploading what you have for this series.

After so long i doubt you're going to continue with this story, but on the of chance you might, i really love this and the prequel, definitely worth reading

I don't mean to be annoying but, Dragon's Breath is a mix of Magnesium and Phosphorous. Not Zirconium, which is a crystal used to imitate diamonds and in no way flammable.

This story is amazing! I am enjoying your iron fist story over on TTH as well, but I like this one more. Could you put in on TTH please? It is much easier as a reader to read stories there, and to track them as they are updated. If you update this story here, I may miss it...

In response, no you didn't make a mistake, I just accidentally typed Cindy instead of Linda. So same kind of question, but I figured that Jack wouldn't care anyway. And hey, did I accidentally hit the abuse button? How did that happen?

I think its pretty much a given that I'll love what you write by this point, but what the heck, I'll list 'em anyway. My favorite part was the scene between Cindy and Willow, even though they didn't fight. I bet Cindy would win though, she's smarter and better. I don't know anything about Wiccas, so I have no clue if what Cindy said was true, so I'll trust you. I didn't get what Cindy meant when she said wish you away to the cornfield though. I'm not sure what to think about Jack/Cindy, is the age difference about the same as Xander and Vi, or does Jack just not care? I really liked the 100th kill party, especially when Xander said what they were really celebrating. I found it to be very true. The Xander/Buffy scene was good too. All this was missing was more Xander/Vi stuff. Hope to see more soon.

Glad to see more of this. You even made me feel for Buffy in this chapter. Now, I really like Buffy, but in later seasons, some of that has gone away. And with Xander dispassionately tearing into her here... I really felt sorry for her.

Part of me is glad she's been put into her place but another part of me sees that she tried to do the right thing, even if it wasn't in the right way. And to have her contributions summarily dismissed even though, in a sense, doing so is the right thing to do, is still... painful to watch. Way to kill one's belief in oneself. You made me dislike Xander here, even though, as the guy in charge, he had to do it.

I'm looking forward to the continuation and what other things you'll be throwing into our friends way.

This was well worth waiting for as the tension mounts. Buffy getting put in her place. Willow warned off. Faith's world teetering on the brink and that is all without the Old Guy's team planning a coup. Liked the celebrating life party, there should be more of them. You don't pull the punches with your stories and that what I love best about them. The writing is pretty good too. Looking forward to more soon so don't feel you have to stick to the 'at least a month' timetable, but if that what is it takes it is of the good!

i just found & read both of your stories here and have enjoyed them very much...i like the way you've had some of the characters growing...especially xander-too many writers forget to allow his growth, you know? you wondered in a couple of your notes about the number of hits & reviews for this story vs. the previous story, and i was wondering if some of it was just that people are waiting until more of the story is finished, since it can be frustrating to wait weeks or even months to find out what is going to happen next...and if your previous story is anything to judge by, you tend to write many (great) chapters-which i love- I know that because of the fact that so many of these longer,more in depth stories are abandoned before they are finished, i usually will wait until it is either finished or fairly close before i will start reading it. anyways, thank you for this -

i know you mentioned at one point that you aren't a huge buffy fan, but i'm kinda surprised that willow hasn't been trying harder to make up with xander. it just seems like her personality is to try to get back into the good graces of anyone she has hurt...and for her to no longer trust xander seems ooc, just because they have a strong relationship that each has leaned on periodically, going back forever...

I really like your work. This is far superior to your first story, yet fits in well with what you already established.

Now I have to re-read Spy Game.

By the way- Awesome story.

I liked the battle, particularly how they reacted to whatever they were facing, very funny. I also enjoyed how Cindy was mad about what happened to Rascal. I think the scenes between Rona and Vi made this chapter, especially when Vi started to defend Xander. The scene between the slayers was interesting too though. It looks like things are leading to a confrontation with Buffy, which I always enjoy because it makes her look stupid. Huh, well that showed my hate of her. Can we see some scenes of Xander interacting with Vi's family? I was also always hoping to see what Thanksgiving was like or how Xander and Vi spent their time in Europe. Anyway, good chapter and I look forward to more.
