Nicely written. I love stories that focus upon the relationship of Miss Parker and Sydney. It always seemed as if so much went unsaid between them in the series, with all the small moments that Syd was there at her side when her father turned his back on her.

Your suspense played out well, as did the sudden shock of having the daughter walk into the room.
