This was sweet. I liked how Meredith was angry at him because she had been worried. That seemed exactly how she would react. I liked that Derek was understanding and willing to repair things slowly.

My favorite part: A thousand thank you's that Derek was helping the victims instead of being in the car accident himself. I appreciate an author who turns cliches on their heads.

Now, why couldn't this have happened?

I liked it, I just stumbled across it. And I thought it was just the right amount of fluff... It didn't choke me like most do. And it wasnt so angsty I went suicidal. I liked it, good strong written story. I wouldn't change a thing :)
