Actually, when I watched the episode I was annoyed at Sam for intruding on John, but now that I've read this I'm not annoyed anymore. I like the parallelism you've used between the two relationships. It's a really nice piece of writing. Thanks for sharing.

Here's hoping John gets a happy ending, too. Kudos. I read this story in the "Elizabeth Weir Will Never Leave" C2 group. How nice to find stories like this in one place!
