Hell yeah! I am so annoyed with Spike and I think him and Buffy being together would be the lowest of lows. Buffy seems to have no pride anymore. She'll sleep with anyone and not think twice of it. Plus, I truly dislike Anya. Her and Xander have no chemistry. Great story- if only it had happened.

Spike deserves to get staked for what he's done, but it's a bit short sited of Xander to kill him at this point, simply because of how useful he is in the fight against Glory. I wonder how Dawn would react to someone who she considers a good friend being killed just after getting tortured to protect her? You could do a sequel where she tries to get revenge.

Also it's quite ironic how much Xander hates Spike yet is going to marry Anya. I don't think she has shown any more remorse for her throusand years of creative torture and murder than Spike has for his hundred years of killing. Even after she got together with Xander she talks about how much she enjoyed torturing and killing people with her powers, yet the others don't seem bothered about it, Xander treats it as a joke. She may have been made human when she lost her powers, but that doesn't automatically mean that she's good or that she has a soul.

I think that Spike would probably go back to killing if he didn't have the chip, but I also think that Anya would try to get her powers back if Xander ever left her. If Xander and Buffy ever got together I think that Anya would try to kill them even if she didn't have her powers back. Maybe someone should kill Anya now while she's human, it's quite a risk they're taking when you consider how deadly she would be if she became a demon again.

Very good. You wrote exactly what I've been thinking. Not sure about Xander still having strong feelings for Buffy though. I mean, they're friends, great friends even. But love....I think he's into Anya like no other.
I still enjoyed it. Well done.

Wow, that was a really great story. Really well written, it deserves a sequal. Best part was Xander's thoughts near the middle there. I LONG to see the alternate ending. Where Xander didn't stake Spike, and then ended up putting that *** out of her misery. Great.
