This is such an original idea. I have read a few stories where Merope manages to raise Tom on her own, but not one where Tom's father raises him. It is... hum... somewhat interesting to see that young Tom is still the devious, power-seeking little boy he was in the orphanage, though I do like that he is not as... aggressive, so to speak. I hope to hear more of Morfin Gaunt's daughter- or I think it is his daughter. Mayhap Tom will meet his cousin at Hogwarts, once Thomas Riddle Senior is persuaded to let Tom go.

Out of all the fan fictions I have ever read, this one is definitely my favorite. I can't wait to see how this one ends and how Tom could change the wizarding world for the better.

I can't wait to see how this AU ends. I have often read stories where Harry goes back in time and becomes a father to tom...or ones where Tom comes out from the diary and has a touch of humanity. but i have never read a story where He is actually raised by his birth father. Thanks so much for turing this idea into a story.

I suppose this was written before the release of HBP showed us that Tom was quite the malevolent little monster even before he left the orphanage. No matter at all, I'm curious as to what sort of personality that will emerge in this new, seemingly more innocent Little Tom.

I like this :) The sequence of vignettes conveys a natural sense of time progression so the fic doesn't feel rushed. I look forward to Ravenclaw!Tom Riddle, unless you plan to make him a Slytherin in which case he'll be Slytherin!Tom Riddle. :D

(As a Ravenclaw myself, though, I would love to see the heights Tom's intelligence would scale were he surrounded by people who appreciated knowledge for its own sake. :) )
