The idea of a x-over between SG1 and Gargoyles surprised me but this is a great story. Demona is always great

There’s no other word for it; this story is EXCELLENT.

While I still have to wonder how the ‘magic’ of the Unseelie can be totally explained in a context that the SGC will ‘accept’, the idea of ‘Myrddin’ taking a group of gargoyles and humans offworld is definitely an interesting one, and SG-1’s reactions to the sphinxes and Thoth were very well-written (Particularly Sam’s incredulity at the idea of an unbreakable rope or Daniel’s efforts to reconcile this new historical information).

That said, it’s the subsequent twist with ‘Dominique’ transforming into Demona when she’s taken to “Daedalus” that really sets off an interesting turn of events; not only do we have the implications of the Illuminati trying to gain access to the SGC, but the long-term implications of SG-1 learning about other ‘sphinxes’ still on Earth is definitely promising, to say nothing of what might happen if/when they meet other members of Thoth’s race.

Admittedly, all this stuff about what the Manhattan Clan have been up to since the series ended- the Gargoyle World Council, some kind of Unseelie war, things like that- raise more than a few questions at the moment, but I’m hopeful that we’ll get more details of their history when SG-1 meet the gargoyles.

Well I found this totally by accident and I wasn't sure how in the hell this could even work. So far even though you really have to stretch things out, it kind of works.

So far it's a pretty good read, although that part at the Castle was kind of confusing, I felt like I was missing a LOT of backstory with that. I mean it's obvious the final season didn't happen as it did with them being exposed to the world but it just seems a lot of things happened.

It's been awhile and this whole thing with this war with Unseelie and Seelie I can't remember and having a hard time finding information about it. Again, more backstory to those that can't remember that far back if this actually happened in the show could have helped.

I'm also not sure if you're making a romantic thing between Daniel and Hypatia, I hope not. Mainly because then it makes no sense as you see a lot of the Vala/Daniel build up in the series just suddenly ignored as well. Plus if this is after the Ori, shouldn't Carter be in Atlantis being in charge or if this is even after that, in command of the USS George Hammand?

Also some of the other characters of SG-1 seem to get pushed to the background a lot in this story other than Daniel.

I am seriously missing the Gargoyles. Not sure if this counts as a proper Crossover in my mind without the actual charactes there...

Also, noticed this chapter also appears to either have words misspelled or missing.

Odd... Why aren't they simply called Gargoyles here?

Also, you refered to Carter as either him or he in the first part of the story at least once.

Reading this again and finding the numbers for the Gargoyles quite low. I hope there are more cities apart from Stonehaven with their own clans. At the moment, they still look very much the endangered species. Even 50,000 could mean extinction in case of a disaster.

Will you be developing their civilisation with the inclusion of the Harry Potter Magicals as the most direct descendants of the Alterans? I've read a few crossover fanfics with Harry Potter and it works very well.
