You have a good story, I'll tell you that. But I hate it when authors steel ideas from other books or novels or short stories.
As an author, you should come up with your own ideas, not take it from a short story. I didn't need to read any further, knowing exactly what will happen having read the short story in the 7th or 8th grade.
I enjoyed your story until that point. Now I'm not sure if the rest of your story is your origional idea or someone else's...

..Oh, and about this. MKR and CCS are two of my favourites in anime. They're classic. This does a hilariously crazy job of melding them. Like Tsubasa...just less...chaotic. (On that note I can't BELIEVE that CLAMP did they're own crossover...I swear, they're driving us fans mad...-_-'')
But anyways. _ This is brilliant. Abso-bloody-lutely great.

I had gone to your gallery on side7 (forgot when exactly) and saw the 'stone and starfire' pictures, and I thought to myslef 'where can I find that story?' but... since I am extremely slow, I only found it a few weeks ago (it took me so long to read it... darned finals...) well, I love it! too bad that you specifically said 'DON'T ASK ME TO DO A SEQUEL!' because for certain I would have. i have no idea who these characters are, as i don't read Card Captor Sakura, but, somehow, i'm enjoying it. immensly. i'll have to start reading CCS now...
