Withdrawn 8/2/07 . chapter 1Aw...I...I really am caught between liking it and not liking it. It's good, don't get me wrong, it's just, it's kind of sad, y'know. But also, it's just so increadibly hopeful, despite being so sad. So, yes, it's a message of hope for the characters, but, it's also a signifier of just how great the gap is between the goddesses and their mortal loves. I dunno, I can't decide weather to like it, or simply say that it's good but not for me. Either way, I can at least confirm that it's definitely well written and brilliant, if nothing else. Oh, and I know this was published like, nearly 6 years ago, but I figure I might as well point out that from what I've seen of the series, in accompany-ment to those two one-part issues, there are also the two peices where: 1) she fixes Sentaro's bike and he gets angry-ish at her, but later on you find out that it was all because she erased the scratch on his bike from when he crashed after first meeting her, and he learns that you don't need things for memories, while she learns that sometimes just because you think they'd appreciate it, doesn't mean the person wants the help (I think that was the lesson, she never seems to learn it properly if it is, so eh). And 2) there was a scene which I just finished reading where Sentaro is going to move, but...well I don't know how to describe it, I just realized I barely know how to think of it myself, I just liked it. Either way, eh, it doesn't really matter; this was good and that's all their is to it. |
WelsperTheCat 11/7/01 . chapter 1Ah, this was sweet, and sad, and it's about time somebody wrote something like this for Skuld. I really can't find any fault with it. This is destined to become a classic in AMG fanfiction alongside fics like "Scenes from a Life." |
