I feel...confused. (as well)
I don't really understand this all. Does that mean that 'Fujiwara no Sai' never exsisted in your story? Did Hikaru actually meet Hisatos ghost or was there no ghost at all, only memories mixed up and some sort of imagination?
Or is this all a big coincidence?

I really doubt this story would be logical or fit to the original plot.
However: the writing style itself seems to be good.

i am proabably slow or something, but even at teh end i was still confused. and it was sad
people died. sigh i want to say this was a good story but i am too confused to do that. i can, however, say that there was nothing wrong with your grammer and what not. good writing(but confusing) 0_0
