Love the story! I love Edward being raised by his father. Update again soon please!

Why is it that every chapter that I read I want to smack my head harder on my desk and then give you a huge hug? This is so brilliant and frustrating! Grah! But I really do love it. I feel horrible for Edward, nothing is going right for him. I still say that there are too many similarities to put it down to nothing, though Edward von Hohenheim may just be Ed's alter. God, if it's true I want Edward Elric to show up and them to stand toe to toe, in shock, and then screech and jump back simultaneously. Lovely mental image there XD

I noticed that this hasn't been updated in a year; before that it was updated every month or so. Do you still plan on continuing it or did the plot bunnies run away? I would really love to see more of this story. It's an angle that I don't think I've ever read in a FullMetal Alchemist fanfiction and I absolutely love it. I hope that you continue this someday! Hopefully soon! *hopehope*

;_; That was so sad! Poor Edward! And Alphonse as well! They are all sorts of confused and screwed up...I wish that poor Edward could remember more. He's in a rough spot. I also just got the Maria von Hohenheim is Dante and William is Envy connection. I'm pretty sure that that's stretching it but it seems so logical...

I'm definitely not going to be able to get up tomorrow. Damn.

O_O Damn it all. DAMN IT ALL. That was *takes a deep breath* GAH! I KNEW IT! Ed doesn't remember anything before the accident! Does he even remember the accident? He said that the pain he felt during his first prosthetic surgery was the worst he'd ever felt and yet it is safe to assume that the accident would have been more so. But then the question is raised; what happened to this Edward if our Edward was around until 5 years ago? Edward von Hohenheim remembers only the last 10 years and Edward Elric was around until 5 years ago. There's a 5 year gap that throws the coincidence for a loop. I don't like it. Actually, I do, I love mysteries, but still it's frustrating. Also, “No, Edward. Your brother and alchemy just didn’t mix,” almost made me cry. It was both heartfelt, sad, and like his brother had been sacrificed.

When will we find out what is lies and what is truth? What of Edward Elric's life and Edward von Hohenheim's life was real? Did both of them live half-lies without ever knowing it?

I feel really horrible for Al. He just wants his brother back and he gets thrown out the window by Edward who is so tired of people harping on him either for looking like Edward Elric or for not being him. It sucks. It really does. I want to hug him; he's one of my favourite characters XD

Thanks for such a great chapter! I might have to finish what you've got posted before I go to bed...which will definitely make it hard to get up for school tomorrow. Bleh.

*pauses, then screams* GAH! That was brilliant but you have a penchant for cliffhangers, you know that, right? I was thinking, "What could possibly be on Edward's left arm?" And then you throw out that he has a Flamel on the left side of his chest! Is it at the top? The side? The bottom? Is it more on his stomach or his collarbone area? *is a visual person* I thought that, possibly, he had a tattoo of some sort on his left arm, Flamel or the Philosopher's stone array, but then...geh. I think you might be one of the most confusing authoresses ever, and it's amazing. Absolutely brilliant. I love this story.

I feel horrible for Al, though. He wants so badly for Edward to be his brother and...I just don't know. You've managed to twist this story so much that I just can't tell if there's any chance that Edward von Hohenheim is Edward Elric.

O_O That was...that was just scary. Edward completely flipped out in the scariest way possible - by going all calm-like and cold. It was really quite freaky. Great chapter! I worry about Edward. I really do. I still have hope that he's our Edo but...it's looking less likely. Maybe when he has the automail surgery Fic will be able to find some more tell-tale signs of automail once being present :3

*babbles* Good grief, I swear! There are all these signs that Edward von Hohenheim is FullMetal and yet everything still says he's not! I'm not quite sure what to believe! He's got automail scars but has never had automail, his father taught him alchemy and made his prosthetics which, in a way, coincides with the movie and series, and he claims that he knows how to shoot because he cannot use self-defense. GAH! I am so confused but I love this. I really do.

Good Lord! Edward isn't even sure of his own origins, Breda is a jerkface, and Edward knows practically nothing about...anything! Quick, someone find out where Germany is and send him back! I have this horrible feeling that without some semblance of a memory he's pretty much screwed as far as getting around safely goes. He doesn't even know about automail...why do I see Winry appearing at some point?

That was brilliant! I love how, right off the bat, Roy spits out his coffee. Not only is it classic, it's hilarious. Not to mention the fact that every time Edward speaks I can hear his accent in my head. It's very lovely. Great job right here!

Oh, this is such an interesting idea, and you've left me so curious. I don't suppose you're planning on doing more with this?...Since you haven't updated in a little less than a year...

mm, this is really good. a very unique take on the whole "after-story." I really like it, and hope you end up restarting and/or updating at some point. :)

I hope you are planning to continue this, I have really enjoyed it and can't wait to see how Ed explains this coincidence!

I am really, really, really enjoying this fic so far. I don't know if I want it to really be Ed with memory loss, or another from another reality, or what... but I do know that I want another chapter, and soon if possible!

Interesting premise. I think everyone's reactions to Edward von Hohenheim are true to character, and the frustration all around is well-done.
