Two years...**. I really do hope that wont be the case for chapter two. I have to say this was really confusing, yet it made the closure that much more sweet. That said, I have some questions:

1)Is Sasuke alive or dead? You've made mention of Team 7 having another member and that Sasuke is now in the leaf. I guess my hope that Sasuke was killed to make Narutos suit is dead.

2)What is the pairing? The header says Naruto/Hanabi yet you devoted a whole section to Naruto/Ino...or am I just reading too much into it?

3)What the hell made Naruto a wraith?? More importantly, whats all this about him being weak now if he only goes out for high level assassinations? Seems damn powerful to me.

4)Who is his sensei you mentioned? I have a feeling but I can't be sure...

And certainly not last, 5)What was the deal with the flashback to Orochimaru? Was it Sasuke who got ** up or Naruto?

I don't really need these answered, as with proper telling it will all be sweetly revealed in the most agonizing manner possible for the reader (^_^) but if I'm gonna realistically wait two years or more per chapter...well with turnover rates on great fanfics these days I don't wanna get invested in the hopes of a story I can't comprehend enough to decide wheter its up my alley or not. (Seriously, all the good stuff is being discontinued while all the mired ** of amateurs and little kids muck up the fanbase.)

Well, if you can't already tell, I do enjoy this tease and I sincerely look forward to more.

Ah, I think I get it. Naruto is pretending to be a cripple in Konoha, taking low level missions as a cover for whatever reason. Really, he is the Hokage's most secret agent, sent to do the hardest possible missions. Another theory is that he is doing the 'hard' missions for himself while pretending to be a cripple. Am I right?

1) How the HELL does Naruto know Raikiri?!?!

2) HOW THE HELL DID HE GET SASUKE'S SKIN AND FACE?!?!?!

3) HOW THE BLOODY HELL WAS THERE BLEEDIN' BLOOD?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

At several points of the story, I was confused. Strange story, overall, but I find it rather amusing, at least. I'm hoping to clear things up over the following chapters.

i lke your fic, this could turn out to be an epic...

i got the impression that it's naruto all along, even when ryu mentioned the person as sasuke... it fit the clues in all the lines... update soon, so that we'll know why naruto is so powerful while at the same time is regarded as the shell of his former self.

oh,.. i could be mistaken, but between the lines i think the one with sakura and kakashi is sasuke himself

raikiri, rasengan, kage bunshin, fire technique, face changing technique, wind-accelerated chakra,... kyuubi sensei?

Awsome fic cant wait for an update i like how Ino has progressed with her mind abilities.
I think some of the techniques Naruto used might need some explaining.
Is it Kyuubi or Ino talking to him in italics at the end?

This is really neat, I love jumping into the middle of a story and trying to figure out what happened earlier! The description is great and I'm way hooked, I hope the next chapter doesn't take too long, but I know all about long delays between updates.

Interesting story. From my view, Naruto is the cripple that has a relationship with a hardened Ino. The mission that Tsunade gave him was to kill that Cloud advisor disguised as Sasuke. Then he sent a Kage Bushin still disguised as Sasuke to Oto for some reason. What was the point of doing that if Sasuke is dead? Does Orochimaru think Sasuke is still in his possession? If he is, then how did Naruto get his face? And how did Naruto know that technique? So many questions. That's what I like about this story.

Finally, he does the lowly bodyguard mission to stay in his current character, a cripple. Am I right?

Pretty sure you meant to say "He took the blow meant for you"

2) ANBU is capitalized throughout. Not just the 'A'

It's 4 in the morning, I'm sure I'd understand more of this fic if I wasn't reading from two bloodshot eyes.

Basically, Naruto is crippled, though is it more of an act so he doesn't have to kill as much or at all?

And how would he know to meet the Cloud delegate? I'm curious to know what's going on there, perhaps it's revealed in future chapters?

Oh dear...now I'm really confused. Who was who? Who was the depressed dude that got the mission assignment from Sakura? Who was the other member of the team that Sakura was flirting with? How did Naruto pretend to be Sasuke and why? How was he able to use one of Kakashi's jutsus? WHY was he being called a cripple? HOW was he a cripple? So many questions, so many answers waiting to be heard.

Amazing, just... amazing, I'm speechless! You are by far my favorite auther! Anyway, can't wait for the next chapter I seem to understand whats going on with the hints you put out,other then that, glad to see that there are hints of NaruIno in this fic I mean after reading your Foxhound fic, that pairing litteraly became my favorite! Ciao!

Okay, I'm confused. What does this fic has to do with Hanabi? It's labeled as a Naruto and Hanabi fic, so I expect both characters to be in the fic. Naruto is there, but I do not see Hanabi at all.
