The way the visions snap in and out were very well done also, and I think you've done quite a good job on the characterisation, too - didn't really strike me as OOC as you claimed. :) Or at least, any OOCness seems natural in the different environment. Ha ha, it helps that I have a Balthier/Vaan bias too. It flows quite nicely so far, and there's a good pace - I look forward to the next chapter. |
