yay for Nick!...yay for Brass!..finally we are getting somewhere on the homefront and the crime scene front!...good chapter!

I'm so sorry for your friend's husband, and your friends battling breast cancer will be in my prayers...

It was nice to have an update though...

Just a little FYI on the time line for the first 5 seasons.

Season 1 - Gil tells Sara to get a life after she blows up on a domestic violence case. Sara stays up all night with Gil watching a pig decompose (decides to not eat meat after that).

Season 2 - Sara has the case with the two sisters (one lived like a hermit and reminded Sara of herself) and she decides to takes Gil's advice to get a life and calls Hank about going to a movie. Sara tells Gil she's looking into leaving because he doesn't show her any respect.

Season 3 - Gil finds out about Sara and Hank. Sara confronts Gil about being a jerk because she got a life like he told her to. Several episodes later, Sara finds out Hank is cheating on his girlfriend with her. The season ends with the lab explosion and Gil turning down Sara's dinner invitation.

Season 4 - Sara is worried about the fallout from asking Gil out. Later Gil deals with the murder victim that looks like Sara. At the end of the season, Sara finds out that Gil recommended Nick for the promotion and Sara almost had a DUI.

Season 5 - The team gets split up. Later Sara blows up at Catherine and Ecklie, and Sara tells Gil about her past. Later Sara is almost killed while she and Gil work a case at a mental institution. Season ends with Nick being kidnapped and rescued, and Gil getting the team back together.

You need to keep your facts straight. In Chapter 28, one of the kids puts Gil's cellphone to his ear with Sara talking to him. Yet in later chapters this doesn't seem to have happened. Also in Chapter 31, Gil wakes up from a dream where he is talking with his mother and he fights the breathing tube and is threatened that he will be restrained, but in later chapters it is like this doesn't happen.

Sara can't be 35. If Gil is 52 as stated a few chapters ago and you have them with a 15 year age difference, then Sara is 37.

In the first few chapters, you have Sara & Gil able to work grave shift together because of the blackmail material Brass and Greg got on Conrad, with that they also got two weeks paid leave. Now in this chapter, you have Sara working swing shift again. Also I can't tell whether this chapter takes place during or after their two weeks leave. You need to organize your chapters better so the reader doesn't get confused on the timeline. Just FYI.

That was so funny. especially the comment to Cath. cant wait for more.

...Don't mess with either of these two, especially while protecting loved ones!

I don't care how good I could ever be, I wouldn't have figured out the truth behind the threats! This is seriously convoluted-I don't feel bad about not putting all these pieces together! Keep the updates comming!
