Interesting...I don't ever think I've seen a take like this on Henry and Eileen leaving South Ashfield Heights. I dislike the tense you used in this story, but it worked when it came to making the reader feel as if they were experiencing what Henry was going through, the sense of hopelessness and ever-repeating failure. The fact their problem is solved so easily towards the end seems to emphasize how it's over, and it's up to Henry to move away from it.

Bang up job, this was definitely a good read! Made me think :)
