I really love your story, you are an excellat writer. This is one of my favorite books, and you have definitely done it justice with this. I loved the part where Finny, untouchable Finny, felt hurt and pain as he apologized. It was so sweet, in a sad sort of way.

Yay! My friends and I aren't the only ones who know that Finny and Gene are gay! I think it's a great representation of the stereotypes and abuse that homosexuals recieve from their peers, and the rejection they must feel.

I remember reading this book when I was 14 and wishing that Gene and Finny would just kiss already. And, It was the first time I realized I dug men with other men. 11 years later, and I still dig it. Anyway, awesome story.

we're forced to read this for English class, and we can't help but laugh after every few paragraphs. Man, you can interpret this book in so many wrong ways...

We're only on Chapter 5, but Carey, Richmond, Emma M., Emma W. Kaleigh, and Kendra spoiled it by reading ahead and telling the class how Finny dies. But, when Finny fell from the tree in chapter 4 (i think...?), we thought he'd die b/c of having AIDS (yeah, our whole class of 30 believes in GeneFinny XD), but Emma, Carey, and Richmond looked ahead and found out that Finny DID die, but not the way everyone expected...lol.

I need to go finish reading chapter 5. man, my class is so behind compared to the others! XD

Oh my god, this story is amazing!! :D I love how you characterize Gene and Finny... I could really see into themselves and feel their emotions. The homophobia in the story is something I could actually see happening in real life, 1940s or 2008. I love you! *glomps* Please update soon!

This is a nice story ! I haven't read A.Sep. Peace fics in a while, but his one was good!
