hm.. Good point I'll have to double check to seeif I haven't already added your story to my Favs ,... I'm glad that you comeplete your stories before you post them... I just sorta got that mindset which is why I haven't posted anything in a long time.
I have a tone of stories and plot bunnies..lolz... but I have yet to actually complete them. so I'm holding back on posting anything just cause they are not done.
I hate coming across stories that are really really good .. only to find that they are not completed and haven't been updated in years...
and I really don't mind that you post a tone of chapters at once. That just means that I have something to do and look forward to before I go to bed... XD
Hey, nice fic you got here. Glad to know that Cricket's will be fine. Hopefully, the second surgery will go well.
The thing about the Trowa x Heero x Quatre seemed pretty interesting. Not many fic out there really attempt this type of threesome. I hope to see more from this.
Just one thing, Trowa suffering from shock over Cricket is pretty understandable and not entirely OOC but the way Quatre bounced up on his feet so easily after suffering from serious blood loss just come out a little strange. One might think he should be suffering from exhaustion right about now. And what about Relena? Has Heero settled things with her?
And more Wufei x Duo please? I mean, with them all alone in the hotel room, things could happen.
I hope Heero, Trowa and Quatre would end up together. I mean it's hard to keep a long distance relationship especially when there's three of them. How will they find time to make sure they have the opportunity to see each other?
YAYS.. updates updates updates...*does happy dance*.. I love your stories.. but ive told u that already,lol... cant wait to read more..XD
Barbara 1/7/08 . chapter 1
Jo, like how assertive you make my character and enjoyed the story
nixee 12/5/07 . chapter 34
Now where should I begin, today? I really have to keep at him, and Trowa, or they’ll both miss out on life. Yeesh, the things I do, trying to get through to my pig-headed pals, would fill a dozen books. Of course he’ll probably threaten to shoot my like he always does when I make him mad, but I gotta love the guy’s dedication to his missions.
This phrase of thought is a perfect representation of Duo’s persinality. I can easily see Duo, and his actions. Especially in regards to this plot point. I would suggest making part of this section external, rather then a internal thought. When reading this section, I envisioned the thought going external towards the end. I actually see Duo start speaking at the “Yeesh” part of the thought.
This phrase perfectly identifies the idealistic happy thoughts Duo attempts on portraying to create a seemingly happy, well adjusted solider act-believable to even himself. This phrase is one I see him speaking aloud, not just in his head, to make his act believable (to himself).
This phrase signals Duo’s habit of making assumptions to force anyone particular person into a pre-primed clay mold. Dou’s ability of disregarding parts of a person aspects and relevance in the pursuit of cramming what remains into the mold is uncanny, for he simply cafeteriaizes (yes, I did just create a word) people . Takes the parts that fit and “… Duo filed the look away with the other odd moments he’d witnessed, and pretended not to see.”
One more thing on my list of to do’s
This seemingly harmless, short phrase, again expresses an entire story within in. Duo’s ability of sacrificing for betterment to…With back of hand to forehead, exasperated baited breath. Speak, “oh woe as me, I must set aside what is good for me and, step out of my place and help this poor unfortunate soul (last part sung to the little mermaid movie with the evil witch). As we all remember, or some may not, the lesson from the little mermaid, is: The evil witch did help, and was is for the sake of helping “this poor unfortunate soul?” (again need to sing that part, to make it more effective in this review) NOPE!, Ursula’s (that was the name of the witch) help was part of a much larger, more diabolical plan to take the King’s Trident.(crescendo)
But, I digress. I don’t see Duo with a larger diabolical (just like Mr. Burns from the Simpsons’ drumming his fingers) plan, but what I do see, with this part of the story, is a boy who is afraid of being left behind or out of his friends lives at this time, or even abandoned by his friends as the war ends and 5 boys move on with life after the war.
Duo, satisfied that whatever Howard had observed about the ship had relaxed him, returned to his favorite hobby. “So, Heero, why don’t you admit that you like Relena Peacecraft? I mean, it’s all over your face when you see her.”
Again, further expresses the fear to not be abandoned. Duo uses sales tactics in his attempt to convince Heero of his preface.
“She’s a cute lady too, not to mention, a princess to boot.” Duo tried to force Heero to say something more expressive.”
Sigh, Duo, why do you think appealing to his love of status would convince him? Oh, that’s right, it would convince you!
“You talk too much, Duo.” Heero finally snapped, as he continued to monitor the comm channels for information that would lead them to a real breakthrough.
You ever met a person that wont leave you alone, or any one alone. (with a nagging, nasally voice read) “and you know what I would do, and you know what I think is best, and you know what, and you know what, and you know what?” AUGH!, is makes you want to…I don’t know push him away even more and never take anything he said seriously, stop talking to him, say mean things to make him go away, or any number of ideas and examples going through each of your heads. What Dou fears the most, abandonment, is perpetuated through his insistent desire to not be abandoned. Dou is creating breathing life into his one true fear.
On the surface, I can gather a sense of happiness. The author portrays surface urgency, just to make it better for the others around me, Duo is a self-less; giving of his time and giving of his better understanding of other needs, but that is the trap of this personality flaw. (Disclaimer) We understand this group of charters’ are created by an artist. But as art goes, it has inspiration. In my trek of life, I know individuals who carry this flaw. “I need to help you, because you may miss out, or you may go a way I think is best.” If we contemplate for a moment, persons in our own lives and friends who are freely offering their “better” advise, we can see a trend of low self-confidence and virtually no self-esteem in the advise-giver. The next step in this person characterization is: the pushy salesman or the military recruiter. (not that the military is good or bad, just the recruiters give me the creeps, too over bearing). When the not-so-subtle influences do not persuade the intended target, this type of person can become aggressively pushy. A thought the leave with you, mostly because you stuck it out to the end. This is one type of personality that could cause harm or destruction-all in the name of “the greater good.”(read that with a creep announcer-like voice, for the full effect)
Hm, well, making this Duo's pov certainly was interesting to say the least. He sure does seem confident that he knows what his temamates need, even if he's a little slow to arrive at the conclusion that they already have interests. lol. Though him being in the dark about it just adds a bit of light to everything, and it does bring a moment of relief before they have to go and fight again. Oh, i think you messed up in a line. Duo was thinkin, but you typed "my" instead of "me" when, i think, Heero was talking to him. I didn't have to think or read the emotions that Trowa felt in this chapter to know that Duo was annoying him. His "glares" did all the work. It's funny how Duo knows that he's going to annoy people, even if it's for their own "good". He still pushes forward, oblivious to what they're actually doing without his knowledge. It did seem that he got the shock of his life when Heero declined to go with them in the end. Wufei is still a jerk, a pompous jerk! lol. Though the other characters (Trowa, Heero, and Quatre) weren't the main focus, this chapter served well in the idea that no one but them know about their little secret. I'm surprised and yet not surprised that Duo even thought about Trowa being gay, though he still needs a lot to learn or acknoledge about Heero, his best buddy. The tone was lighthearted for the most part... the ending just brought back nerves and the dreaded war! Not a let down at all. I just mainly loved that this was through the thoughts and pov of Duo, a more laid-back guy...
Take Care!

battybat 11/22/07 . chapter 9
Interesting with a lot of good points about trust and friendship .Nicely written ,i liked it and the critters did to.
Gosh, Duo is dense at times! He needs to pay better attention to people, like Heero. You know that could be another reason for him being so close to Heero. Heero understands and observes, while the other just does one of those things.
Is this what you told me about Cricket fans writing to you about how you could do that to her? Poor Cricket.
Wow! Wufei's not that much of a jerk! Hm, but then again, his attitude did have to come from somewhere. Tragic, but i think that little revelation enables the reader to empathize with Wufei. Nice.
YES! Trowa was able to regain his memory! And that just brings up more questions, along with the several others that any reader must have by the end of the chapter. Way to go and keep the readers in suspense!
Aww, quatre was so helpful! Hm, somehow i'm glad that he was the one talking to trowa when he was hallucinating inside Zero. Did that have to do with him sort of...again, how do i explain this! well, since quatre failed in keeping himself okay was his helping trowa in some way a sort of atonement for what he had done?
YAY! HUMOR! it amazes me that Quatre can still be so innocent and yet have a "rare" gift like that! Heero and Duo... They make a hilarious team, don't they? Duo always seems to try to get on Heero's nerves on purpose. He really wants to make him react with emotion. And still, he has no idea that Quatre and Trowa already have.
I'm overly joyed about the word choice! Sly has got to be one of the greatest words ever! This chapter was really more of a humor relief than anything. I mean, there were some things that it hinted at for later, but the overall state of it was all in good nature.
Heero's caring nature ofr others was sweet. And Quatre almost blowing the news of what they did the previous night was... how can i write it? Hm... It was funny, kept the reader on edge, and entertaining! And this chapter did show how emotion and feeling loved is so important to anyone. That's the thing that got me in this chapter... Sigh, good ol' emotion and tone!
Aww, Quatre is so cute! lol. Okay, i did love the diction in this chapter! It was better than the last one in this fic. I suppose having three instead of two makes a difference.
Quatre is innocent and sometimes seems naive... not much, but i dash of it. I liked the words that you used to describe him in this chapter. All of them just make the point of him being new, safe, and easy to be around. Heero is definately the guy that knows what he wants and launches at it! It was great to see that his role was slightly shifted in the chapter. Instead of being the overall dominant one, he ended up surrendering that for the feelings and reactions that he was giving off due to the other two.
Trowa kept thinking about his buttons being pushed... Heck, that did happen a lot! lol. Though all it led to was just more pleasure for all of them. Hm, i have a question. Does Quatre dislike not receiving attention or does it just seem like that? GAH! You can be such a romantic writer at times. Really. Mostly any word that was used in this chapter had to do with satisfaction, pleasure, love, sensuality, honesty, and tenderness. Cute. :)
I love how passion plays a huge role in this, which makes this chapter even more important. Three people being together can cause problems, but they all made sure that their lovemaking was passionate enough so they could do this over again. The mentions of rape and prostitution really do make me feel sympathy for them, but it's also a great tool for a bit of compare and contrast sort of thing. It reflects on how young they are, their past experiences, how better they (Trowa and Heero) are at sex, and how they long to try and stay together without any of the past repeating itself in their relationship.
Not to mention that if they would not have answered Quatre's question, then that would being out even more negative conflicts. The ending was made sweet and enduring by Quatre's actions and words, and the acknowledgement of the other two to his words, well, vow.
:-)
why is it that in chapters like these, you don't have any mistakes concerning grammar, spelling, and typos? lol. just kidding, but it's true!
lol. okay, the ending made me laugh. Anyway! Trowa was so evil at the beginning of the chapter! well, not evil evil, but you know...
oh, again, you missed a quotation mark toward the ending when Quatre is speaking.
i loved how both teens were so protective and a bit territorial (gah, i'm comparing them to animals in the wild!) since both wanted Trowa's love, affection, etc. Though the ending was completely different from their emotions in the beinning. You could see them come together after the idea of a three sharing each other was brought up.
i'm glad you brought up that little talk about Trowa being compared to a toy and a steak. Finally he brought it up! another thing that i took notice of was that modesty was completely tossed out the window! all three (well, Heero's less modest) were blunt and up-front about what they wanted! It sure did beat the heck out of beating around the bush.
and thank you for showing that compromise still exists in this crazy modern world of ours! oh, and i wish i had a dish washer too. washing stacks after stacks of dishes is not fun, and it sucks when no one helps! lol
wow, poor Quatre. he keeps beting himself up for what happened with Zero, huh?
O.O
Trowa... you made the ending suspenseful! lol.
As for Heero in this chapter, he actually was a bit more sympathetic towards Quatre, while sending out messages like, "Back off!" lol. hm, but both of them finally bonding (if ya can call it that) did wonders. and the suspense! really intense, though. even thoug there weren't any harsh words exchanged, both fought on some level with all that they had while openly talking about the situation at hand. cool.
