Arkeus 5/30/08 . chapter 11
i can't believe that you didn't give the starlight breaker UE to nanoha :D
Arkeus 5/30/08 . chapter 10
mh, your lazlo is not only uber powered and uber skilled, but also uber intelligent, uh?

that's...a bit much.
Arkeus 5/30/08 . chapter 6
hehe... I guess Nanoha, Fate and Vivio needs some True Rune, uh?
Arkeus 5/30/08 . chapter 5
your lazlo is a bit broken, but that's alright i guess.

what beothered me was the fact that it sounds like your erio is bad wihtout magic :D
Arkeus 5/30/08 . chapter 4
Sniff...

Soemone apparantly stronger than the Pink Beam of Doom (TM).

Horrible.
Arkeus 5/30/08 . chapter 3

No one can be stronger than Nanoha!

Not even Hayate :D
Arkeus 5/30/08 . chapter 2
yehee, nice Crossover!

i am a bit rusty on my suikoden, so i have no idea who is who :-)

oh well, i do hope it won't be solely about lazlo and vivio (can you say Starlight Breaker?).
Hikari Tsukishiro 5/1/08 . chapter 1
While I understand that a true rune is generally more powerful than Nanoha's world of magic, the story would have been more balanced if you didn't give Lazlo linker core magic and huge amount of knowledge of everything; that would have given Lazlo less overwhelming power and giving everyone else more script time.
WraithRune 11/19/07 . chapter 5
Cool! Lazlo getting his own linker core. Oh well, need to sleep now. Will read the rest some other time. D Ganbate!
WraithRune 11/19/07 . chapter 4
Cute D I watched Nanoha too! And this is a good combo story you've going on here. Keep it up!
wordsworthy 11/18/07 . chapter 27
In response to the earlier review by vikitehwaffu, it is true that the Suikoden characters are somewhat more overpowered than the Nanoha characters, but that's because the nature of their powers and ages differed. Most of the Sui-characters i added here bore True Runes or a directly descended child rune like the Star rune; in fact there are more than ten of them around, so let's like comparing ten nukes to tens, hundreds of bazookas. In the fight scenes i've written for this tale, instead of overwhelming power, i gave the Nanoha characters overwhelming enterprise instead, if you would notice the technical details in the groupcentric battles, personally i liked the way the Numbers and the rest of Forwards 1 fought as i imagine they did. (I would be easier to show you if someone would make an anime by my vision though.) None of them are by any means weak, but only appeared so relative to the "Higher Powers" (True Runes, Fate, the protagonist's role in the middle of things), hence the title of the writing. The only character that is truly overpowered is Lazlo, but even then he's not infallible.

As for the undeveloped part, i admit that the Nanoha characters are considerably underused... but then again, most of the chapters are concentrated on the core members of the story: namely Lazlo, Vivio, Fate, Nanoha and everyone else plays a smaller part as a foil or epilogue-like component. Personally i would have liked to concentrate more on every character, building them up from the beginning, but i haven't the patience or the skill of J.R.R. Tolkien to slowly build up a world as complete as that. Having too many character-based chapters kinda takes the edge of the vision i have for the first tale and its link to my second one.

I do appreciate the review and your comments. In the end, this is still just my first experiment and foray into fanfiction, so some parts are still really rough around the edges so naturally, i will work at it will your advice.

For those interested, the continuation of Higher Powers is out in the Games section under the Suikoden thread. Do check it out if you happen to be a Suikoden fanatic too, or simply if you wish to find out the continuation of the tale. The Nanoha link will be dim by then, but occasional mentions will be there. Thanks again.

I liked the concepts and the way you meshed the Suikolore with nanoha.

One problem though I had with your story was that I felt the Nanoha universe characters felt too underdeveloped and underpowered in your story with Suikoden characters being more in this story.

I would say that the omake was little suspicious, but if Crowly and Mazus can reincarnate without a True rune involved, then why not Sara and Luc? Nice work on the SoD chart, though I would like to point out (although a bit too late) that no one is supposed to take a different star position than the one their initially assigned (though with all the Tenkai Stars, it is understandable.
antlan87 11/7/07 . chapter 25
Interesting conclusion to the final battle. I am curious if you plan to write any more chapters, or at least an epilogue in Suikoden style (it just wouldn't be complete without it). If you do, I'll be sure to read it. Keep up the good work.

NOTE: The said black knight had charged up his ([{word}]) with raw runic energy during the quick double team attack and unleashed a scathing slash attack upon the call to do so, sending the other black knight reeling helplessly through space momentarily before he regained control of himself.

You missed the S in sword here.
