...I don't really have the words for this. You could _never_ imagine Deidara like this--numb and dead and empty inside...It just breaks my heart.

The numb ache left by Sasori's death just totally broke him, and seeing him like this...it sort of casts the same effect on the reader. Everything is gone: his love, his art--in other words, his entire _life_. It's beyond heart-breaking/shattering: it chills you to the bone; a despair as deep as oceans and dark as night.

You cast so much pain into four chapters...it's amazing.

I wish I could add more, because there is so much more that it deserves, but I honestly (and I'm a writer, too, so that should give you some of the idea of how big a deal that is) cannot form words deep enough for it. And for that I'm sorry.
