This was absolutely lovely. I love the kind of style you used with the repeating words - one of my favorite things to find in a fic - and just the writing in general. And the plot. Oh, the plot, so clever, so sweet.

that was so cute. i love how valentine was stubborn and wouldn't admit (even to himself) that ha loved Helena.

I love how good a job you did keeping Valentine himself. So many people just write without thinking like the character, HOW he or she would say it, and I think you did a good job on him. Since Helena didn't have much dialogue, it was harder to tell, but I'm confident you'd do well with her, too.
P.S.: LOVED the spork-wielding penguins bit.

this was very good. i really liked how you wrote valentine's character. it's so completely valentine to ignore the very obvious reason for his 'symptoms'. thanks for writing this.
