I can almost hear Ricardo Montalban's voice reciting the dialogue! It's kind of spooky. I also like the way that you nailed Roddy McDowall's version of Mephistopheles. Spooky as all get out, let me tell you! I was kind of confused when Nick Beale showed up for a fantasy, as he was Beelzebub in disguise. I guess that I only ever saw Roddy in that role. Did you have a specific actor in mind for Nick's version, or was it completey random? I can't wait to see what's in store for Leslie's triplets. I only hope that you aren't planning on killing her off. I like her better than I liked the character of Julie, who was a bit wishy-washy to me.

So Scott will get back together with her... and Mr. Welch will marry Rochelle after all? Cool beans! And Mandy gets to meet Mr. Haraldsen. What a fantabulous resolution to this fantasy! Totally over the top, totally unlike how she used to be...just the thing to prove herself to Scott! Hey, that was pretty cool. Scott wanted to see Leslie. Awesome! Awesome! Awesome! Gordon

I got a great chortle out of this bit: “Hi, Leslie,” Mandy said, glancing at Christian and then finding herself unable to take her eyes away, for the sheer shock of seeing him in person. “Oh…you must be Prince Christian…my gosh, you’ve got to be the best-looking prince in existence.” Christian’s eyes widened with enormous amusement and he raised an eyebrow, which brought home to Mandy how inane she’d just sounded. “I appreciate the compliment, although I’m afraid my wife might not,” he said humorously. Leslie swallowed her fruit and laughed. “Well, I tell you what, I’m not going to argue with her, my love,” she said cheerfully, and Christian chuckled. The shower was pretty neat, and I loved the little t-shirts. Cute! Oh wow, a triple stroller! I've seen people bring them into the library and while I've been out shopping, but not very often. Roarke must have ordered it from Hawaii. The diaper service will be very handy; I used one for a bit, but was always forgetting to set it out on the porch the day it was due. We wound up canceling it... ARGGH! You didn't tell us what Mandy's last-minute idea is. Is she going to kidnap Rochelle? Appear nude at the wedding? Oh, wait, this isn't Betazed, it's Fantasy Island... I hope Margareta has a good time when she comes. And what about that letter from Lilla Jordso? Questions, questions... To chapter 4! Gordon
PDXWiz 2007-10-17 ch 2,	abuseOh no...that got off to a BAD start. I'm not really confident Mandy can pull this fantasy off... Hey, that's neat that Scott is calling Mr. Haraldsen Dad... If Scott is having trouble relaxing before the wedding because of all the chaos...having trouble relaxing on Fantasy Island, mind you...perhaps there's still hope for Mandy yet. Dangit! Roarke interrupted Leslie with the mail...I wanted to see what the letter from Lilla Jordso was about. Hopefully something good... Wow! Roarke called her 'chicken'...he doesn't usually use slang, even for those closest to him like Tattoo or Leslie. That's like Spock cursing or Data using a contraction in the Star Trek Universe. Pineapple and ice cream craving? Unusual, but at least it isn't gross or weird. I've heard of peaches and ice cream, so this isn't that different. Forward to chapter 3! Gordon
PDXWiz 2007-10-17 ch 1,	abuseNice beginning. I took a childbirth class when my oldest was coming. I'm glad I took it, and I'm glad Christian and Leslie get to do this as well. This is a very intriguing fantasy. Mandy is in one heckuva mess. I have no idea where you are going with this story. Sometimes I can tell where it's going (well, I've been reading your stuff for about a year now...wow, where did the time go?), but definitely not with this one. I don't think there's anything wrong with Leslie helping Mandy come up with better phrasing. Roarke often dispenses advice when asked, and very sage advice it is, too. Besides, she's a guest, and usually if a guest makes a request, they try to honor it. (Although there's a big difference between a salt-free meal for someone with high blood pressure and Mandy's request, of course.) Gordon
jtbwriter 2007-10-17 ch 5,	abuseThat was amazing...and the sweetness of Leslie's wanting to help Mandy-but her own fear of wrecking her chances..very believable. And the shower the girls threw her...even Mariki joined in! I love the way Christian made sure Leslie is comfortable and secure with his love...and Mr. Roarke's support...sigh.. A wonderful story...but the preview you've given us...shudder! Poor Leslie-what is going to happen and can the doctor's friend help? Inquiring minds and readers can hardly wait-thanks!
