This was, by far, one of the best Atton-centric stories I have ever read (and I've read most on this site.) Yes, there's slash. Yes, it's preKotOR 2.

But by George, I love it.

The style is on point. The little quirks in the writing, the details of the story plus Atton/Jaq's cold point of view and description, just makes the entire piece captivating from start to finish.

i decided to read this since there arnt enough stories about atton, and i was pleasantly surprised and impressed, this is literally the first slash story i have ever read and liked (i dont have a problem with it, it's just not my cup of tea). you wrote 'jaq' very well, exactally the sort of scary, merciless(but not souless) sith i would imagine he once was, totally consistant to the character in the game. well done!

Saw the "toned down" version on KFM. Yeah. Jaq or Atton, he's one NASTY SOB. His callous, sociopathic style just made this creepier. He knows Trek is a sweet, vulnerable person - no real threat. But, he casually screws the guy in every way possible. I'll bet half the reason he really hates Mical later on is because that guy is like all the guys he's gone and killed. An LS Atton is uncomfortable and wants to restrain the urge to snap his neck while a DS Atton just wants any opportunity to kill.

I *thought* it seemed familiar somehow. Much improved! The sex scene was somewhat graphic, sure, but in good taste and well done. The writing was a little over explanitory at the beginning, but aside from that it was well written. The reader feels for the characters. Jaq is Jaq. ^_^ And I was pulled in from the start. ;)
