Oh my! I love how you wove some elements of canon into your AU; I love the reason you gave Nii for choosing his line of work! I'll bet he was like a kid in a candy shop when he got hold of that text.

Nii's not quite as dark here, but much more angry, which balances out nicely. Love the idea of 102.

And the split with Hakkai is an idea I'd love to see explored more often.

Wooah, that's fantastic. The whole time I was reading it I was trying to figure out who it was. I had a feeling it was Tenpou, but there were others as well. I like how it gives Nii a reason for what he's doing. *Faves*

Oh wow! The idea that Tenpou is the one that influenced Nii, all be it in an indirect way, is, well, awesome. This was a wonderful fic and really, you should write more along this line *grins*

You did keep me guessing for a while about the identity of the diary's author. I was thinking definately Tenpou at first, but then the whole thing about scheming and combining magic and science, etc. had me thinking more along the lines of Li Touten.

So now, in your AU, Nii's focus will have shifted from Koumyou/Genjo to his interest in Hakkai... if/when he recognizes him for who he WAS.

I've always thought those two looked suspicously alike, but I thought it was a grand highlight on how a similar personality type can b greatly changed by the presense of friends and companions. Or something like that, I spent too much time in English classes. Anyway, I really like this, it's unusual and interesting.
