I... wow. That was really intense. I think the best part of the whole thing was the duality. You were constantly going back and forth, contrasting Katara and Sokka's relationship to Zuko and Azula's. And then, at the end, you compared the new life Sokka held to the death of Azula. I thought that was perfect and amazingly written on your part. Thank you so much for writing this. :)

I love this! It has always been fun for me to compare the relation between Zuko and Azula to the one between Sokka and Katara. In fact the two families have so many paralells, the losses of their mothers, the relationship with their fathers, even the younger sister being the the bending prodigy. You did a great job with this!

Brilliant. I loved the snapshots-like snippets of each of the siblings' relationships. Sokka and Katara's is just adorable and Zuko and Azula's is complete and utter angst. And of course, the Zutara is as great as always. I loved it when Sokka gave his blessing to Zuko and then threatened him - typical Sokka. And poor Azula. Zuko really pitied her even after all she had done to him. Though you should've shown a little about their childhood, how they were friends (which they probably were) and how they were driven apart.

Wow...this kind of left me speechless. I particularly like the brief, succint style it's written in, and how each of the short scenes feel like snapshots in the overall scrapbook of Azula and Sokka, and how they relate to their siblings. The last one with Azula was especially interesting and somehow sad - I can really see it happening, too.

Good job, and I'd love to see more like this!
