This was really cute, well written, and I could totally see it as a scene from an episode. Especially Gourry acting all 'imma not gunna tell you' by going all bright and cheery, and Lina wanting to fireball him in return.

I really do like these short stories that just give you a small glance at the characters. Lina and Gourry really are a lot of fun to write when it's just the two of them. ..and thank you so much for not inserting lyrics into this! I always found song fics to be boring because the lyrics interrupt the flow of the story.

Interesting. Not what you'd expect, since it ends without them really admitting their feelings and more or less returning to the status quo.
