Giving this fic 'effective' as a parting word doesn't give it justice. I liked the story. Yeah, a tad corny but it was a romantic story with a gentle ending.

very nice! i like how she went to visit him during his time in the north; i'd always seen it portrayed as he just left and they didn't communicate for those 2 yrs.
