I have to say, I really do love your work. Near's character in this isn't just the pale, quiet kid everyone seems to portray him as, he actually does have a lot of stress, thoughts and emotions, however messed up they may be. The metaphors you use when his mind is trying to translate the murder into something concievable, sound well thought out and are effective at driving the 'lost' feeling home. I know you are in college, and I know from everyone I know who ever went to college that it's an extrodinary amount of work (Eh, soon I will be in High School...that blows :()But I hope you update soon!

You know you should really, really update this. Like, now. I mean it. I know you are in college now, or so claims your profile, but seriously, you are my favorite Death Note author on this site and Welcome to Whammy is still my all time favorite story. That means I need this side story. Really!

Wow, this is one of my new favorite stories. Near's my favorite character so that may have had something to do with it, but it's really good anyway.

Woohoo! You show that toy snachin' spycho-babeling weirdo! lol. Love it. One of my kids from the Chemo ward did that once. He drew a white smile and colored it all different colors. then ripped it apart and kicked the table till it broke. Nearly cracked my ribbs laughing. Poor baby. Caught up to me three months later and cryed about it. /-T He has a bunny rabbit named Near. lol

Lorazepam. I took that medication for a while for panic disorder, but it is a pill form of medication and it is not a rapid relief medicine. So my question is, was Near forced to take this drug oraly in his sleep? If so, my only suggestion to this story is to find a different benzodiazepine that is injected into the body and absorbed instantly.
Otherwise, I've added this fic to my favorites list and look forward to an update. :)
